It is said that a preacher lives his sermon.  That is certainly the case this week as I preached about the “Full Armor of God.”   The battles that we have as Christians do not come to us as battles.  The devil is much more sophisticated than that.  The battles we have come to us as “life.”  So and so said this.  Or someone did that.  We have to realize that the devil is trying to rip us off and keep us from living for God anyway he can.  That is why Paul tells us in Ephesians 6 that we war not against flesh and blood.  There is a warfare going on and we have to use God’s weapons to fight this battle.
