“Should a man like me run away?” Nehemiah asked this question when the false prophet Shemaiah recommended he hide in the temple because they were going to kill him tonight. What should he do? He wanted to protect himself, but God had a mission for him. Nehemiah did the right thing and didn’t hide in the temple but stayed among the people.

This is a powerful lesson for all of us. When the going gets tough, don’t hide in the temple but stay put and trust God. If God put you there, He can protect you regardless of what it looks like. He can give you the wisdom and resources that you need. Just trust Him. Praise God!!!
