“Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.” You may remember that Scripture from I Peter 5:7. The reality of that Scripture deeply touched me once when I read it.  How could an infinite God care for me?

What you may not know is where that Peter probably got that Scripture from, Psalms 55. In this Psalms the author struggles with life. He even says that he wishes he had wings so he could fly away. He speaks of being betrayed by those closest to him. In verse 22 he says, “Cast your cares on the Lord and he will sustain you; he will never let the righteous fall.”

If you are struggling today, cast your care on the Lord because He really does care for you. He will help you through whatever difficulty you are enduring. Praise God. Pastor Bob
