The Hubble telescope provides scientists the opportunity to observe space with fresh eyes. Things that were impossible to see before can be viewed without the distractions that the atmosphere of the earth brings. That’s what prayer does. It opens our eyes to see things without the distractions of this world. Then we can see more clearly.

Once scientists saw the world through the Hubble telescope, they realized that space was much bigger than they thought. Measuring distance in light years proves grossly inadequate. The numbers describing the distances to the new found galaxies overwhelms the viewers with the size of the universe.

What does that mean to us? Our prayers open our eyes to the vastness of the universe and the greatness of our God who made the universe. Seeing our problems through the viewfinder of our prayers helps us to trust that God has the ability and the desire to answer our prayers. Keep praying and watch what our God does. Pastor Bob
