The other day I was going into a parking lot and I saw a loose shopping cart coming towards me. It was easy for me to avoid it in my truck but I watched as the cart continued downhill picking up speed toward a snow bank. It collided with the snow bank and that was the end of the ride for the cart. But it stuck me at that moment that that is how so many people run their lives. They just go with the flow like the cart and let gravity take them wherever. You’ll hear them say things like, “if its meant to be then it will happen.”

The Bible has so much to say about living in the real world. Matthew 6:33 tells us that our top priority should be to seek the Lord. Not if I have time, or if I get something else done but the first thing. The promise of this Scripture tells us that if we do seek God first, then the other stuff we worry so much about will be taken care of. What a wonderful promise. Read it for yourself and put God first. Pastor Bob
