Don’t hold stuff too tight

Sunday I preached on Philippians 4:10-19. You can listen to the whole sermon if you like at http://fgfnj.org/index.php/extensions/listen-to-sermons. I learned so much from the Apostle Paul. He learned the secret of being content. He didn’t need the latest iPhone, newest car, or best clothes. He knew what was important.

Be careful about becoming attached to your stuff. Believe me I understand. Stuff matters. We like it. It makes our lives easier and more desireable. But all I ask is that you do like Jesus said in Matt. 6:33, “Seek first the kingdom of God…” and all the stuff will be added unto you. Keep God first place in your life.
