Trust in the LORD

If you are retired like I am, you may have part of your retirement invested in the stock market. The last few days have not been good for the stock market. It is easy to become stressed about the loss of one’s retirement. However, we must realize that there is nothing safe in this world, and we must trust the Lord with our future. That is easier said than done.

I encourage you to meditate on Scripture to help when life is difficult. Psalms 91 have helped me so much. The entire chapter is filled with encouragement. The first verse tells us that whosoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. The key is to dwell in God’s shelter. He owns our possessions and has a reason for our being. Each day, I attempt to acknowledge that God is in charge and rest in the knowledge that He has everything under control. I pray that you will place your life in the LORD’s hands, including any difficulty you face. God bless, Pastor Bob
