Hi folks,
Sometimes things just don’t go the way you want them to. Sometimes you just don’t feel like doing something but because you are faithful, you do it anyway. How many times have you wanted to stay home from work or school? Sometimes even fun is work because your life has become so full that you have no rest. That is certainly an issue that needs to be dealt with but what I want to talk about is faithfulness.
What I mean by faithfulness is doing what you say you will do. As a pastor, sometimes I am greatly disappointed by the lack of faithfulness among Christians. It seems to be understood that you must be committed to secular activities whether that be sports or some other thing but God gets pushed out of the way. The daily devotion gets replaced by any of a number of things. Church is missed because of, well…anything. Let me tell you that the coach of a sports team doesn’t like excuses and neither does God. So consider, are you faithful… do you do what you say you will do? Think about it. Pastor Bob
